First Round in Hold ‘Em Game
After the posting of big blind and small blind, the house will deal two cards to each player which are known as hole cards. It is to be understood that the two players who are immediately on the left of Dealer button would have already put their money into the pot. Thus, the action starts from the player left to the big blind who can call the big blind amount, raise, or fold. The round of betting will continue till it reaches the player who posted the small blind. This person can call, raise, or fold; by folding, the player will forfeit the money already put into pot as small blind.
Advancing the Game
After the action from the small blind, the big blind will have the option to check in the case of no previous raises, raise, or can call any raise. Like all other poker games, betting round will continue till all the players have either called or folded for all the bets. Soon after the completion of betting round, the dealer will start the game by spreading the three face-up flop cards in the middle of the table. After the display of flop cards, all the players will know their chances for winning the pot with their hand.
